Harbourton Foundation supports organizations and causes that align with our values and philosophy. To that end, we identify areas of focused impact and support grantees who are taking action to address root issues in those areas.
Climate Change Solutions
Due to the magnitude and far-reaching nature of the climate change crisis, we support research to inform broad-based policy solutions as well as practical and entrepreneurial solutions to pave our way to a more sustainable future.
FOCUSED IMPACT IN ACTION: WOODWELL CLIMATE RESEARCH CENTER
Woodwell Climate Research Center conducts science for solutions at the nexus of climate, people and nature. We partner with leaders and communities for just, meaningful impact to address the climate crisis.
Scholarships
We provide scholarships to support the educational goals of young people, helping them to live full and productive lives.
FOCUSED IMPACT IN ACTION: GUARDIAN SCHOLARS
Guardian Scholars was founded in 1998 with the goal of making educational dreams come true for foster youth. At the core of Guardian Scholars is a comprehensive program of financial aid, academic advising, life coaching, mentoring, housing, and personalized attention for First Generation and Underserved Youth. More than financial aid, Guardian Scholars is a support system put in place to ensure scholars the best chance of being successful in college and beyond. The Harbourton Foundation has actively supported the work of Guardian Scholars in Eagle County, Colorado since 2014.
Emergency Relief & Recovery
We support projects that provide immediate relief and long term assistance to the people and organizations most impacted by emergencies and disasters.

GlobalGiving connects nonprofits, donors and companies in nearly every country in the world. We help fellow nonprofits access the funding, tools, training, and support they need to serve their communities.
Community
We invest in strong leaders and organizations in the communities where we live, locally and globally, to help improve the well-being of those in need.
FOCUSED IMPACT IN ACTION: PATH HOME
Path Home empowers homeless families with children to get back into housing - and stay there. Every year, Path Home serves more than 500 families in the Portland area per year across all programs including Family Village Emergency Shelter, Rapid Re-housing, Homeless Prevention, and Basic Income.
